The Brashear Association serves people in poverty – from those facing temporary challenges to families living in chronic, multi-generational poverty and works to move them toward self-sufficiency. Brashear’s Tangible Assistance Services provide immediate, short-term assistance to low-income individuals and families through two food pantries, the holiday assistance program, and utility assistance counseling. Brashear’s Neighborhood Employment Center offers job readiness preparation and job search/retention assistance to unemployed and underemployed adult residents throughout the service area.
