Who We Are
Free Store Wilkinsburg’s (FSW) mission is to redistribute new & lightly used donated goods to residents to create stability and self-reliance; especially, in times of crisis and emergencies.
FSW relies on donations by corporate partners, community members, and volunteers. At a time of change in Wilkinsburg, FSW strives to make a meaningful contribution to the Borough’s revitalization efforts and the people who live in and around Wilkinsburg.FSW is an independently operated 501c3 formed to fill a “need gap” that currently exists in our community. All items are free-of-charge with the overall goal of combatting poverty through empowerment.Visitors to the store will be asked to take only what they need and give what they can in monetary donations, volunteer hours, or a simple thank you.At a time of change in Wilkinsburg, the Free Store strives to make a meaningful contribution to the borough’s revitalization efforts.For information about donations and volunteering email us at freestorewilkinsburg@gmail.comWhat We DoThe organization provides the following help to single mothers and children:- Redistribute new & lightly used donated goods to residents
