Who We Are

Hip Hop On LOCK has become one of western Pennsylvania’s premier mentoring and arts education programs, using hip hop music, culture, dance and more to teach relevant life-long skills in leadership, organization, cooperative economics, and knowledge of the music business. In the program, students work together to create a mock record label and then create executive positions in order to write, produce, record, mix, master, and develop their own project.
